We completed our semi-annual aeration of the greens on February 27th. While there is never a good time for aeration, we feel that getting this important practice done now is ideal so the course will be in great shape by mid March when the days are longer and the weather better.
We often get asked why we are aerating the greens when they are in such good condition. This video from the USGA explains the reasons for regular greens aeration.
Recovery time from aeration typically is 2 – 3 weeks. During that period we offer a golfers special discounted rates.
